.As an entrepreneur and industrialist, Syed Babar Ali envisioned and set up Packages Limited (Pakistan’s largest paper & board mill) in 1956, Milkpak Limited in 1979 – now Nestle Pakistan Limited - (the largest food processing company in Pakistan); Tetra Pak Pakistan Limited in 1984, IGI Insurance Company Limited in 1952, and Tri-Pack Films Limited in 1992. He is also Chairman of Sanofi-Aventis Pakistan Limited and Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited. He believes in the joint venture philosophy and most of his businesses are joint ventures with major multinationals. As an educationist, he led the establishment of the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in 1985 of which he is the first Pro-Chancellor. LUMS is among Pakistan’s premier higher education institutions. In 1992, he founded Ali Institute of Education for training of primary and secondary school teachers. He is a member of the Board of Aitchison College and Lahore School of Economics. He served as Pakistan’s Minister of Finance, Economic Affairs & Planning in 1993. He promoted the cause of World Wide Fund for Nature (earlier World Wildlife Fund) where he served in various capacities, both in Pakistan and internationally, from 1972 to 1996. He was International President of WWF from 1996 to 1999 succeeding HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. He is now Vice President-Emeritus, WWF International, and President Emeritus WWF-Pakistan. He set up Babar Ali Foundation in 1985 which primarily supports education and health in Pakistan. He is member of Layton Rehmatullah Benevolent Trust Karachi and Businessmen Hospital Trust Lahore which has funded Shalamar Hospital and Shalamar Medical College. He received honours and awards from the Government of Sweden, the Netherlands, and an OBE from Britain in 1997; he was awarded two Honorary Doctorate Degrees - Doctor of Laws from McGill University, Montreal, Canada in 1997 and Doctor in Education Management by IBA Karachi in 2013.

Dr. Musadik Malik recently has been selected as Senator, Senate of Pakistan and also presently is Official Spokes Person and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He remained Federal Minister for Water & Power in caretaker government in 2013. Dr. Malik is the CEO / Managing Director of Boston Innovation Partners and Adjunct Professor of Strategy at Kind Saud University. He has extensive international experience in social sector reform, economic transformation and public policy. HE HAS SERVED AS AN ADVISOR TO GOVERNMENT BODIES IN NORTH AMERICA, MIDDLE EAST AND SOUTH ASIA. The vice President and Regional Director of CHARLES RIVER ASSOCIATE (CRA) International. In senior positions at Arthur D. Little (USA) and STANFORD RESEARCH INTERNATIONAL (SRI), USA. Consultant World Bank and European Commission’s for social sector reforms. Dr. Malik finished his Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Illinois – College of Medicine – in Health Economics and Medical Decision Making. He obtained Ph.D. and M.S in Healthcare Administration and Policy; and MBA from the University of Illinois. He has taught and supported undergraduate and graduate courses in healthcare policy and management. He has widely presented his public policy analyses, frameworks and recommendations at international conferences and before senate and cabinet members across various countries.

He is currently serving as Head of PPP Cell, Government of the Punjab, Lahore and as member PPP, Planning and Development Board, Government of the Punjab, Lahore. Agha Waqar Javed is a senior professional having over 20 years of progressive experience (domestic and international) in Banking, Financial Management, Consulting, Research & Publication, Privatization and Public Private Partnerships.  Mr. Javed has been Member Board of Directors of a number of companies and institutions. He holds an MBA as well as MSc. Finance degrees from leading Pakistani and International Universities. Mr. Javed’s work on Privatization and Public Private Partnerships has been published in leading local and international newspapers / journals.
