Leadership Development Program held on 16-17 October, 2025

The Executive Development Institute at National School of Public Policy, Lahore organized a two-day “Leadership Development Program” from October 16—17, 2025, aimed at enhancing the leadership skills of senior officials and decision-makers from both public and private sectors.
A diverse cohort of 50 participants attended from prominent ministries and divisions, including academia. Dr. Naveed Elahi, Dean EDI, welcomed the attendees and stressed the importance of ethical integrity in leadership. Dr. Jamil Afaqi, Rector NSPP, emphasized the program’s focus on team dynamics, leadership styles and emotional intelligence, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
The first day featured distinguished speakers such as Dr. Allah Bakhsh Malik, Dr. Ishrat Hussain, Mr. Kamran Lashari, and Prof. Dr. Sa’ad B. Malik, who addressed topics including team dynamics, leadership and emotional intelligence. On the second day, Dr. Muhammad Abdur Rahman Malik led a workshop on conflict management, while Air Comd.(R) Khalid Chishti spoke on leadership styles and Dr. Rizwan Basharat presented on AI and emerging technologies.
The program wrapped up with a focus on vision, influence and collaboration as key leadership qualities, with participants actively involved in discussions. Certificates were presented to participants in recognition of their commitment to the program.
