The Executive Development Institute (EDI) of the National School of Public Policy (NSPP), Lahore, conducted the 3rd series of its Training Workshop on “Negotiation Skills” on Friday, November 21, 2025. The workshop aimed to equip participants with practical strategies for effective conflict management while strengthening their communication, decision-making and leadership capabilities in complex professional settings.
The program drew a diverse cohort of participants, including civil officers from federal and provincial governments as well as executives from the private sector. Dr. Naveed Elahi, Dean EDI, underscored the importance of achieving mutually beneficial outcomes through effective negotiation practices. Mr. Kamran Ahmad, Director EDI, highlighted the Institute’s key achievements and strategic priorities, emphasizing the value of expert resource persons in delivering high-quality training.
The workshop featured lectures by distinguished guest speakers on negotiation types, strategic conflict management and effective communication. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to participants in recognition of their dedication and active engagement, reaffirming their enhanced competencies in conflict resolution and negotiation.
