Talk by Barrister Shahid Hamid on ‘Legal and Constitutional Framework for Bureaucracy’

Barrister Shahid Hamid, former Governor Punjab and former Federal Minister for Defence, conducted a session on ‘Legal and Constitutional Framework for Bureaucracy’ on Friday, 25 January 2025, for the participants of NMC 122 at the Pakistan Administrative Staff College Lahore. The esteemed speaker is acknowledged for his constitutional disputes practice and has a wealth of experience where both the judiciary and bureaucracy are concerned. He discussed the constitution and the role of bureaucracy, case law, writ Jurisdiction and lawfare, bureaucracy’s interface with judiciary and dealing with contempt of court proceedings.
