“3-day directors’ training program (dtp) for state-owned enterprises (soes)”

The Executive Development Institute (EDI) of the National School of Public Policy (NSPP), Lahore conducted the 4th 3-Day Directors’ Training Program (DTP) for State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) from 21–23 April 2026, approved by the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The program brought together 17 Participants from federal and provincial governments and the private sector, representing organizations including PASSCO, GHQ Rawalpindi, POF Wah Cantt, Bank of Punjab, and Punjab Mineral Development Corporation.
Rector NSPP, Farhan Aziz Khawja, emphasized the program’s role in strengthening corporate governance, transparency and accountability. Dean EDI, Dr. Naveed Elahi, highlighted the focus on effective leadership, legal responsibilities, board effectiveness, risk management and ethical governance through case studies and simulations. Renowned experts delivered sessions on governance reforms, financial oversight, cybersecurity, audits, and board performance. Certificates were distributed upon successful completion of the program.
